What is your approach to Bridal Makeup?

My approach is rooted in skin, balance, and intention. I specialize in refined, natural-forward bridal makeup that enhances what’s already there. The goal is to feel unmistakably yourself on your wedding day — present, balanced, and at ease.

This is not trend-driven makeup or traditional “soft glam”. It’s intentional beauty: modern, intimate, and sculptural.

If you're looking for dramatic full-glam, heavy contouring or highly styled looks, we may not be the best fit, and that's okay.

How do I know if we’re a good fit?

My work is best suited for clients who value refined, intentional beauty and want to feel like themselves on their wedding day. Elevated, polished, and present. I encourage reviewing my portfolio carefully to ensure my style aligns with your vision.

Can you accommodate different skin tones and types?

Yes. I work with a wide range of professional products designed to accommodate all skin tones and skin types, including sensitive, acne-prone, mature, and textured skin. My approach is always skin-first and fully customized.

How far in advance should I book Kayla?

Bridal dates are typically secured 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season. That said, I do occasionally accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability. Inquires are accepted on a first-come, first served basis.

How do I book you for my wedding?

To secure your date:
1. Submit an inquiry form
2. Receive a custom quote
3. Sign a contract
4. Submit a non-refundable retainer
Dates are not held without a signed contract and retainer

How much do you charge for bridal makeup?

All pricing is outlined on the Services page. Custom quotes are provided based on location, timing, and services requested.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due prior to the wedding day.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payments are accepted via electronic invoice. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date, with the remaining balance due prior to the wedding day. Details will be outlined clearly in your booking agreement.

Do you offer trials or previews?

Yes. Bridal previews are offered to ensure alignment and comfort before the wedding day. Previews are designed to explore skin, refine the look, and ensure everything feels aligned and effortless for the wedding day.

How much time is needed for makeup on the wedding day?

My approach is efficient, focused, and intentional
Bride: 60 minutes
Bridal Party: 40 minutes per person

Who will be doing my bridal makeup?

All bridal makeup is performed exclusively by Kayla Jarzab. I do not outsource the bride’s makeup.

What all is included in your wedding makeup services?

Wedding makeup services include a personalized consultation, professional skin prep, custom complexion work, eye and lip application, and optional false lashes. Every application is tailored to your features, skin, and personal style, with longevity and comfort prioritized throughout the day.

Do you apply false eyelashes?

Yes. Individual lashes/clusters or strips lashes are included as part of the service when appropriate to the look. Lashes are considered part of the overall look and experience, not an add-on. Some clients love them, others prefer none at all — both are equally supported. Pricing does not change based on whether or not lashes are worn.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

I work primarily with traditional cream, liquid, and powder products, which allow for greater skin realism, flexibility, and control. If airbrush makeup is specifically requested, please note this in your inquiry so we can discuss whether it’s the right fit for your desired look.

What brands of makeup do you use?

I work with a curated kit of luxury, professional-grade products, selected for performance, longevity, and skin compatibility. Brands vary based on skin type, tone, and finish.

What if I have known allergy or sensitivity to certain products?

Your comfort and safety are a priority. If you have any known allergies, sensitivities, or specific product preferences, please let me know in advance so I can adjust product selections accordingly. I work with a professional, sanitized kit and am happy to accommodate what feels best for your skin. For clients with severe sensitivities, a bridal preview is recommended.

Can I (or someone in my bridal party) bring my own makeup?

I work with a fully professional, sanitized kit curated for long-wear, photography, and a wide range of skin types and tones. That said, if you or someone in your bridal party feels more comfortable using a specificproduct, I am happy to accommodate. Pricing does not change when personal products are used, as the service, time, and expertise remain the same.

How do you keep products and tools sanitary?

All tools and products are sanitized between each client, regardless of whether products are mine or provided by the client. Clean brushes, disposables, and hygienic application methods are used at all times.

Do you travel to the wedding venue?

Yes. Travel is available and quoted based on location.

Do you offer hair styling services?

At this time, I specialize exclusively in makeup. I’m happy to collaborate seamlessly with your hairstylist or provide referrals if needed.

Do you have a team for larger bridal parties?

I work solo or with trusted artists when necessary. Larger parties may require additional artists, which will be discussed during booking.

What happens if someone in my bridal party doesn’t want makeup?

Makeup services are optional for each individual. Only services confirmed in advance are included in your booking and timeline.

What if someone in my bridal party changes their mind?

Changes to the number of services must be communicated in advance and are subject to availability. Once services are confirmed, pricing does not change for last-minute cancellations or additions.

What if I don’t want my photo or video taken?

Your comfort always comes first. If you prefer not to be photographed or shared on social media, simply let me know — this will always be respected and does not affect your service.

What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?

All policies regarding rescheduling, cancellations, and unforeseen circumstances are outlined clearly in the contract prior to booking.

What happens if you are unable to fulfill my wedding date?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will make every effort to connect you with a trusted professional of similar caliber. Any payments made will be addressed according to the terms in your contract.
